Not notified of the product coming from Canada

I ordered this part from “Parts of America”. At their discretion, they shipped it from “Parts of Canada”. When it arrived, UPS demanded an additional tariff of $116 ( on a $186 part). This was not disclosed to me at purchase or I would have purchased it from a US based company. When I asked about the fee, POA told me it was the government and not them. Very poor customer service and communication. Very disappointed in this transaction.
