This replacement F & P Range Igniter (hot surface) was an exact fit for the one that failed. Buy OEM here, do not go cheap as you will regret it... Replacement required access to the rear of the stove, removal of seven sheetmetal screws and disconnecting the two wire connection/plugs for igniter.
Removing the oven racks, rack supports, bottom oven plate (no tools required) took longer than the removal and replacement of the failed ignitor. The ignitor holder was held in with two sheetmetal screws and a pinch bolt. All hand tools and nothing special other than unplugging the stove from 120V AC outlet. Remember to plug the range back in when done with the install, before sliding back into place. NOTE: If you have one of these: (Forearm Forklift Glydeez Large Appliance Slider with Pull Strap Move Appliances with One Hand | Protects Floors | Glides Easily, 48" x 29-7/8") you can move the stove out and in by your self. Save your back and the floor. Great replacement part and now the over works as it should.
